TRANSCORP | Transnational Corporation Of Nigeria Company Update : Cost pressures and FX losses to drag earnings

    TRANSCORP is Nigeria's largest publicly traded conglomerate with strategic investments in various sectors, including Power, Hospitality, and Oil & Gas. The company's power businesses (Transafam Power Limited and Transcorp Power Limited) have a combined capacity of 2,000 Mw (15.5% of Nigeria's total installed capacity) and clear positions as leading electricity generating institutions in the country.

    Transcorp Hotels Plc is the hospitality subsidiary of TRANSCORP and the owner of the new digital hospitality platform Aura by Transcorp Hotels. The company has over 670 rooms at Transcorp Hilton Abuja and aims to construct a five-star hospitality destination on Glover Road, Ikoyi, Lagos State.

    The Oil & Gas segment comprises two subsidiaries: Transcorp Energy Limited and Transcorp OPL 281 Limited. The companies are into the exploration, refining, and marketing of petroleum products. The subsidiaries are in the start-up phases and are yet to generate revenue.
