    The stock market of the WAEMU Regional Stock Exchange closed higher this week with a BRVM C which rose by 1.05% to 200.89 points and a BRVM 10 which performed by 2.24% to 161.75 points. These increases are attributed to the performance recorded in the "Agriculture" (+5.78%), "Finance" (+1.49%), "Public Services" (+0.72%), and "Distribution " (+0.61%) sectors. On the other hand, the sectors "Transport", "Industry" and "Other Sectors" suffered declines of 6.11% ,1.49% and 0.83% respectively.

    The stock market of the WAEMU Regional Stock Exchange closed lower this week with a BRVM C which fell by 2.42% to 198.81 points and a BRVM 10 which contracted by 1.78% to 158.2 points. The underperformance observed this week is attributable to the declines recorded in all sectoral indices except the "Distribution" sector, which recorded an increase of 2.45%. The sectors "Other Sectors" (-13.98%), "Transport" (-9.91%), "Finance" (-3%)), "Industry" (-2.71%), "Public Services" (-2.41%) and "Agriculture" (- 2.07%) are all in poor shape this week. As for volume transactions, they increased, like last week, to 5 049 695 shares traded against 3 459 807 shares. Ecobank Transnational Incorporated TOGO (ETI TOGO) once again dominates trade by accounting for 91% of this volume. In value terms, transactions increased by 31.97% to CFAF 2.41 billion compared with CFAF 1.83 billion last week; SONATEL representing 37% of this value followed by PALM CI (10%) and SGB CI (10%). In total, 7 values are up against 32 down, 5 values have remained constant.

    The stock market of the WAEMU Regional Stock Exchange closed down this week with the BRVM C down 0.77% to 203.74 points and the BRVM 10 down 1.55% to 161.07 points. This week's underperformance is attributable to declines in the "Agriculture" (-7.68%), "Transport" (-1.89%), "Finance" (-1%) and "Distribution" (-0.10%) sectors. On the other hand, the sectors "Public Services", "Other Sectors" and "Industry" recorded increases of 0.07%, 1.36% and 2.48% respectively. As for the volume of transactions, they are up, contrary to the previous week, standing at 3 459 807 shares traded against 1 523 482. Ecobank Transnational Incorporated TOGO (ETI TOGO) dominates once again the exchanges by representing 88% of this volume. In terms of value, transactions fell by 59.79% to FCFA 1.83 billion compared to FCFA 4.54 billion last week; SONATEL representing 18% of this value followed by PALM CI (13%). In total, 17 stocks were up against 23 down, 4 stocks remained constant.

    The stock market of the WAEMU Regional Stock Exchange closed lower this week with a BRVM C that fell 0.73% to 20 5.32 points and a BRVM 10 that contracted 0.22% to 16 3.61 points. The underperformance observed this week is attributable to declines in the "Industry" (-2.35%), "Transport" (-1.5 9%), "Finance" (-1.34%) and "Public Services" (-1.1%) sectors. 0%). In value, transactions increased by 76.04% to CFAF 4.5 billion against CFAF 2.58 billion last week; PALM CI representing 37% of this value followed by so NATEL (30%). In total, 18 values are up against 24 down, 2 values have remained constant.

    The equity market of the WAEMU Regional Stock Exchange closed lower this week with a BRVM C that fell 0.79% to 206.84 points and a BRVM 10 that contracted 0.56% to 163.97 points. The underperformance observed this week is attributable to declines in the "Other Sectors" (-3.86%), "Distribution" (-2.55%), "Agriculture" (-1.78%) and "Finance" (-1.70%) sectors. On the other hand, the "Industry" and "Public Services" sectors recorded increases of 0.43% and 0.76% respectively, while the "Transport" sector remained constant. As for volume transactions, they fell, unlike the previous week, to 1 880 172 shares traded against 1 910 082 shares. Ecobank Transnational Incorporated TOGO (ETI TOGO) once again dominates trade, accounting for 67% of this volume. In value, transactions fell by 22.21% to 2.58 billion FCFA against 3.31 billion FCFA last week; NESTLE CI represents 15% of this value followed by SOGB CI (13%). In total, 14 values are up against 21 down, 9 values have remained constant.

    Au titre du premier trimestre de l’année 2022, le chiffre d’affaires agrégé des sociétés cotées à la Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) affiche une hausse de 14,5% à 1.694 MMFCFA contre 1.479 MMFCFA un an auparavant. Cette performance a été principalement soutenue par la reprise économique à l’échelle régionale. Dans ce contexte, nous relevons que les secteurs Banques, Distribution & Services ainsi que les Télécoms ont été les majeurs contributeurs à la croissance des revenus de la cote avec des parts respectives de 30,0%, 27,0% et 22,9%.
